As of January 1, the WEINIG Group, based in Tauberbischofsheim (DE), acquired 100% of the shares in H.I.T. Maschinenbau GmbH in Ettringen (DE). With the full acquisition, the management will be restructured. 

The long-standing managing director and previous co-owner Franz Anton left the company as of December 31, 2025. Likewise, Werner Spieth, interim managing director at H.I.T. Maschinenbau, has ended his role. As of January 1, Marco Bartenschlager and Michael Bock, managing directors of WEINIG System Solutions GmbH and WEINIG Sales and Service Company, will jointly take over the management of H.I.T. Maschinenbau GmbH. 

WEINIG joined H.I.T. in March 2023. With the full integration, the product and system portfolio in the areas of automation and mechanization, BSH technology, and sawmill technology will be specifically further developed and expanded.
