In block storage systems, the finger-jointed lamellas are stored in batches on each other in accordance with the beam structure.

Because of their batch-based storage concept, block stores provide a relatively high buffering capacity and are especially suitable for particularly long lamellas as they are needed, for example, in the production of curved beams.
