Semi-automatic patching system

The semi-automatic patching system allows to automatically mill out defects.

The position and type of defect can be automatically determined by scanner systems or manually defined by an operator.

After milling, the prepared wood elements are moved past operating personnel who manually place timber patches into the corresponding milled-out spots. To do so, the timber is stopped with the respective defect in front of an operator and the system indicates which wood patch must be used. This reduces the processing time and increases the productivity of the entire production.
