Box sorting lines

Box sorting lines comprise several successively arranged sorting boxes. Above the boxes, the timber is conveyed either via transverse conveyor chains running at the box hatches, or via a drag conveyor running overhead of the box hatches.

The timber is classified by dimension and quality, and sorted “species by species” or mixed into the respective box by opening the box hatch.
The maximum capacity of a box is ideally big enough to accommodate the amount of timber that is required to form a complete package.
